Suryono brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong foundation in investment banking. He advises Gobi on its expansion into the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.

He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Middle East in Bahrain for nine years and played a key role in building CIMB’s Islamic Investment Banking and Asset Management businesses across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Brunei Darussalam.

Beyond financial services, Suryono has advised companies across the utilities, education, and agriculture sectors on business development strategies and market expansion, supporting growth across diverse regulatory and operating environments.
