JE joined Gobi in 2018 as a Vice President in Investments, focusing on high-potential opportunities across the Southeast Asian market.

Before Gobi, he was a founding team member of 11Street, where he helped develop the company’s initial business plans and later led cross-border business development efforts across China, Korea, Europe, and the United States.

JE began his career as an investment banker at Barclays Capital, concentrating on capital raising and M&A activities for Korean corporates and quasi-sovereign entities.

He holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BA from Yonsei University.
