Jason has more than 18 years of experience across private equity, fund management, and investment banking. He most recently served at GLP Capital Partners, a global alternative asset manager with approximately US$125 billion in assets under management, where he led investments across Greater China and Southeast Asia. He also oversaw GLP’s strategic stake in China Merchants Capital, one of China’s largest private equity platforms with US$47 billion in assets under management.

Before GLP, Jason was Head of PIPE Investments at China Everbright Limited, where he managed principal and third-party capital and invested in pre-IPO and late-stage Chinese companies. Prior to that, he served as Head of Direct Investment and Managing Director at China Huarong Asset Management, overseeing a US$1 billion portfolio of structured credit and mezzanine debt investments for Chinese corporates.

Jason began his career in investment banking at Citi and Standard Chartered Bank. Over nearly a decade, he advised Chinese and Hong Kong corporates and global private equity funds on capital markets and M&A transactions, completing approximately US$5 billion in M&A deals and US$10 billion in capital markets transactions.

Jason graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, and Economics.
