Elaine holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research used single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to study why liver cancer resist to immunotherapy, and she also built AI models to predict 3D genome structure. At Gobi Partners, Elaine contributes to deal sourcing and execution across healthcare and AI4S sectors, while actively building the local university innovation and technology ecosystem. She also works closely with founders, principal investigators and technology transfer offices to nurture spin-out opportunities, with a commitment to turning cutting-edge scientific innovation into real-world impact. Elaine has also served as a Teaching Instructor at the School of Business, Hong Kong Baptist University and the Department of Life Sciences, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
