Ali Mukhtar is a General Partner at Fatima Gobi Ventures. Before this role, he founded Fatima Ventures, a venture capital fund created to strengthen Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. Under his leadership, Fatima Ventures, in partnership with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), launched the country’s largest technology incubation centre in 2017.

Ali also serves as a Director at Fatima Group, one of Pakistan’s leading conglomerates, advising on strategy and investments. He sits on the boards of Plan 9 and Plan X, the incubation and accelerator platforms of the Punjab Information Technology Board.

Ali graduated from the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and is a member of several industry and leadership networks, including The Owners Forum and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
